tried hard.....let's see: Yes, it is a difficult horoscope for rectification.
According to me SIR, the asc should be Cancer....because:
No it is Leo horoscope, I am explaining it below your message.
Going by the past events it can be seen that Colin has experienced problems
related to the houses where the MT sign according to Cancer horoscope has
been placed...like:
2nd house signifying family : he was secluded from his parents because of
Religion differences This house lord Su is severely afflicted by aspecting FM Ju
3rd house signifying brother:
This house lord Me is severely afflicted by MMP Sa as both are occupying the
same zodiac sign

I have pondered a lot on both the horoscopes and have got a lot confused
........SOMETIMES IT LOOKS TO ME THAT HE SHOULD BE LEO & SOMETIMES CN..
.............BUT HIS PAST EVENTS AND PLANETARY PLACEMENTS POINT MORE
TOWARDS HIS BEING A CANCERIAN horoscope

In Leo birth chart he had difference of opinion with father due to the placement
of 9th lord mars in the 6th house of conflicts. The death of younger brother is
also seen in this horoscope as MMP Moon is afflicting Saturn, Mercury & Venus
in the 3rd house. His nature is adamant not volatile and he speaks less.
Inspite of acquiring low education he has risen to managerial level with
administrative job. There are no difficulties in continuation of family life which
should be indicative in Cancer horoscope being 2nd lord Sun is afflicted by
conflict lord malefic Jupiter. In Leo birth chart this combination has given him
interest in religion & rise in life professionally.

Having considered the correct Asc as Aquarius, I wonder why Sun could not
protect the house's significations ( partnership/Liason ) which is placed in 7
in its own sign Leo (MT ). Is it because the affliction to the house by Me is
more powerful than the benefits that Su could provide, though in own house.

The placement of Sun in its own house is excellent but the placment of
Mercury (lord of obstructions) near the MEP of the ascendant is more
effective than the Sun. In this horoscope the placment of Mercury is not
the only factor for dissatisfacion, obstruction in marital matters,but the
weakness of Mercury (lord of long marital tie) & Venus(significator for
marital harmony, affliction to the Saturn by malefic Rahu,Ketu in the 5th
house(of emotion & children) have also given her emotional setbacks in
life through spouse.

Also, pls advise if there were chances to save the marriage relationship
if Jagriti would have been following the astral remedies for MMP Me and
on the other hand strengthening the Su by wearing Kavach / Ruby ?
If she had promptly performed the Astral remedies (propitiations) and
worn the Kavach, the level of the evil influence of malefic planets had
not been so much and she must had passed out this bad phase of life

I hv been trying to comprehend the education that Tushar might pursue
( based on his rectified Asc as Cancer horoscope )
Preliminary education is seen by 4th house & further studies by 5th house.
These both cases should have MT sign, if there is no MT sign in 4th & 5th
house we should see lord of 3rd, 9th, 10th & 2nd house as 3rd rules initiative
& learning, 9th rules secured future/fortune/father, 10th rules profession,
2nd rules social esteem & status in life thru profession. Now you can
understand a native cannot achieve heights of career, social esteem and
other good factors in life without pursuing good academic studies.
He is not faring well in his class & he is about to see a break in his education
( his father is shifting him to Pathways/Woodstock school and they are
admitting him a class below what he should be promoted to )
Is this break in education / not faring well in studies happening because of
his 4 th house ( house for power to comprehend / ability to acquire education )

be Capricorn
by doing this you have hit on the anvil and this is how I explain it:

1) He is presently a motherless child..........she left him when he was only
10 yr old which means his 4th house should be heavily afflicted either by
aspect or conjunction.
In his enclosed chart 4th lord Ma is sitting in exact conjunction with the
MMP Su. Sun for him happens to be the MMP as well.
Yes, you are right, we should consider 4th house for mother where the
MT sign is necessary. Suppose in Saggitarius ascendant the sign of Pisces
is lying in the 4th house and we not consider any lord of this house. In this
case for mother we should go for Moon (sig. for mother) irrespective of
functional nature. In Capricorn birth chart the mutual conjunction of Sun
(lord of obstruction/death) with 4th lord Mars in the 9th house are the reasons
for problem to Mother.

2) When the query of his continued illness was referred to u...he was going
thru FM Ju sub-period.
So significations of house 6 will surface and that is disease/illness and
that is supported by the fact that is JU is placed in house 6.

You are right, he is in the period of FM Jupiter which rules losses, hospitalisation
and being placed in the house of disease with the affliction to the badly placed
Saturn are the reasons for obstruction in health matters.

You mentioned about wearing Ruby, completely agree with as affliction is
really severe but how come SUN is signifying settlement abroad. Isn't it

I have an interesting observation here and would like to discuss with you.
I am a research scientist (Biotechnology). Although I am still in the related
field but what could trigger the change in the type of my work from last
August 2000 drastically, I was running Ve/Ra and this is what amazes me.
Was it due to the cummulative effect of SAT and JUP when they moved from Aries
to Taurus(In my chart 12th house). Then how did they effect it positively
or negatively as 12th house is considered house of losses. I am really

system approach. Also, in some charts there is a statement called

THERE IS EXCHANGE OF LORDS OF HOUSES (FOR BENEFIC OR

which i am unable to understand the
significance and application of that statement. pls do
clarify the above statement. I could not find this in
any of the two books.
Pls do suggest some more volumunous books for these

The two books are very much easy to understand, i could

If any house does not have MT then we look to the planets which are sig. for those houses.

a MT. How its significations will be felt? Eg. in my case, 6th/8th/12th
