The ascendant of your Birth Chart / Horoscope is Cancer. It is the fourth sign of the zodiac and is governed by the Moon. Cancerians generally possess heavy body, slender limbs and powerful claws.

The upper portion of their body is comparatively large and generally they have short stature.

Cancerians are arbitrary and sentimental in nature. Generally they are good listeners and possess strong analytical power and global awareness, In addition to this they are creative and religious by nature.

They face prolonged bad periods in life whenever malefic main period and malefic sub-period operate. However, they are fond of luxuries and material comforts and generally have sharp memory. While its weak strength/afflicted by malefic planets, indicates obstructions in acquiring higher education, problem in continuation of family life, problems to father/children, loss of reputation, difficulties in acquiring satisfactory social esteem, erratic circulation of blood, cardiac problems, weak eyesight, stammered speech and stomach disorders etc.

A strong Moon, blesses with good health, sound mind/sleep, good financial status, analytical skills, adequate maternal bliss and recognition in society. However, if it is weak in strength/afflicted by malefic planets, then it causes lack of mental peace, losses in business/profession, loss of respect, lack of analytical skills, problem to mother, occasional health problems such as addiction, excess of phlegm, chest congestion, respiratory problems, immune deficiency, menstrual and gynaecological problems, sleeplessness etc.

Mars is the most auspicious planet in the Cancer ascendant. Its strong strength blesses with excellent professional skills, executive qualities, vigour & vitality, recognition and gains through profession, interest in joining armed forces, humble character and help & support from younger siblings etc. However, if Mars is weak/afflicted by malefic planets, in the Birth Chart / Horoscope it gives short temperament, impatient nature, problem to younger siblings and dissatisfaction from professional achievements etc. In addition to this its weak strength might cause blood infections, arthritis, immune deficiency, muscle cramps, problem in ankles & feet etc.

The strong strength of Mercury indicates excellent assessment, analytical and decisive powers, communication skills, interest in pursuing higher studies, and efforts of a high order, confidence and support from younger siblings. If Mercury is weak/afflicted by malefic planets, due to any reason then the person might experience losses in new ventures, problems in learning, lack of concentration & initiatives, lack of confidence and problem to/ from younger brother. In addition to this they might suffer from retarded physical & mental growth, intestinal problems, respiratory, cervical pain, depression, neurological disorders, sleeplessness or skin diseases etc.

Venus is another benefic planet in the Cancer ascendant. Its strong strength blesses with global awareness, knowledge of foreign languages, good primary/secondary education, interest in media, art & sculpture, good assets, support from mother, luxuries and material comforts. However, if Venus is weak/afflicted by malefic planets, it causes problem to mother or wife, loss of assets, delay in marriage, lack of domestic peace, delay in progeny matters, lack of awareness, back aches, skin disease, eye diseases, renal problems, infertility and ovarian problems in women etc.

The malefic planet Rahu does not have a particular house. Whenever Rahu is placed in good house not afflicting any area of the Birth Chart / Horoscope, it promotes good results of that house where it is placed. However, if Rahu is afflicting any area of the Birth Chart / Horoscope, it deteriorates the significance of all houses, aspected by malefic Rahu. Simultaneously it gives obstructions, denial, manipulations, decisiveness, greed, over ambitiousness, addiction etc. Apart from this whenever malefic Rahu is in the sign of exaltation and not near the mid point then also it gives good materialistic results.
 
Similarly Ketu does not have any particular house. Whenever Ketu is placed in good house not afflicting any area of the Birth Chart / Horoscope, it promotes good results of that house where it is placed. If Ketu is near the midpoint of any house, it deteriorates the significance of all houses, aspected by malefic Ketu. Simultaneously it gives spiritualism, miseries, denial, etc. Besides this whenever malefic Ketu is in the sign of exaltation and not near the mid point then also it gives good results.
